DeltaE* Details
DeltaE* is a tool designed to compute color-differences using industry standard formulas.Input L*a*b* or L*C*h* data using the built-in keypad. Obtain DeltaE* between the samples as well as the deltas for L*, a*, b*, C*, h* and H*.
Compute DeltaE* with the CIELAB, CIE94, CIE94-textile, CMC(1:1), CMC(2:1), and CIEDE2000 formulas. You can select the reference mode for the CIE94 and CMC formulas with the reference as either the first sample or the mean of the two samples.
You can assign individual LOW and HIGH thresholds for all the deltas (E*, L*, a*, b*, C*, h* and H*); these thresholds affect the background color of the delta data fields. You can also select to show the weighted or unweighted DeltaL*, DeltaC* and DeltaH* for the CIE94, CMC, and CIEDE2000 formulas.
You can swap the two samples by swiping your finger vertically on the color patches.
The L*a*b* data is converted to RGB for display purposes. The sRGB space is assumed and the coordinates are shown near the color patches. You can change the Illuminant assigned to the L*a*b* data in the "Settings" dialog.
The interface layout adapts to the display size.
