This app is meant to older Android devices. If you have old phone which has no use, you can use it as GPS, which can be located via SMS message. Just start this app in the older Android device and leave it in the car, or use it in the dog vest, use it on the boat or use it on any kind of tracking. This app is good for all those DIY persons, who might like to use older devices for something practical. This app is free, because its pretty simple. We think that you can invent this app all kind of use, related to tracking vehicles, boats, pets, or just to place automated alert, when car starts moving. We support recycling and re-use of old devices and one of this app idea is to offer practical use for old Android.This app uses MPTP standard. We have another app (Hunter GPS), which can translate these sms-messages sended by this app. There are also another solutions available in Google Play.
App capability is related to your device battery. If old device battery is in bad condition, you should except that this app wont work long time as the device turns off.
App can't be hidden in the device. This is because preventing unwanted tracking of other people.Use this app for good, not for spying someone.
Properties;
* Automatic SMS message sended when device speed is over placed value (you can setup value in the app)
* Responses location requests as standard MPTP message. Responses only the number which is selected. This number limitation is added because of security reasons.
* You can setup app speed remotely. Using "setup;speed;50" sets the minimum speed to 50km/h. App sends message, when 50km/h is reached.
* You can setup app SMS time interval remotely. If you like to locate app automatically, when speed is over 50km/h, just setup time interval. Send message: "setup;time;120" and after this SMS message is sended every time that speed is over setted value and time interval 120 seconds is full.
* Values can be setted up in the app or via SMS.
* App is optimized to use with SMS messages and without 3G network. So your phone battery should last longer, if you take 3G offline.
* In tests my old android (with Android 2.2.1) lasts in the dogs vest 15 hours in -12 degrees of celcius and only the GPS was on. So consider to turn 3G off before you use this app.
* This app is meant to be as free Dog GPS or free car location informer. You can also locate your kids with this. Just ask child to turn this app on and after this, press the "OFF"-button. Then you can locate his/her location with other app, which supports MPTP standard.
* There are many this kind of SMS location software available for getting location to the map from this app. Just look those SMS location apps in the Play Store and test.
